The Story
FollowUpInvoice was launched in 2024 after we kept seeing the same problem: talented freelancers and consultants losing thousands of dollars in unpaid invoices — not because clients refused to pay, but because the follow-up process was uncomfortable and easy to put off.
We built a focused, no-bloat tool that automates the entire reminder workflow using AI. Within months of internal testing, average payment time dropped from 14 days to under 5. We opened it to the public and the response confirmed it: this problem needed solving.
